Liability Waiver and Release of Claims

By accepting this agreement, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Voluntary Participation

I understand that I am voluntarily participating in sessions and services offered by Unwind Sound Lounge, including but not limited to vibroacoustic sound therapy, meditation, light therapy, and related wellness experiences.

2. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation may involve certain inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Physical discomfort or injury

• Emotional release or psychological responses

• Aggravation of pre-existing conditions

I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown.

3. No Medical Advice

I understand that Unwind Sound Lounge does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. These services are not a substitute for professional medical care. I agree to consult a physician prior to participation if I have any medical concerns.

4. Health Responsibility

I affirm that:

• I am in good physical and mental condition to participate and do not have any of the contraindications noted below:

  • Cardiovascular conditions: pacemakers, implanted devices, severe heart conditions

  • Epilepsy

  • Blood Clots & Circulation: Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)

  • Pregnancy: Not recommended, especially during the first trimester

  • Recent surgery or open wounds

  • Severe psychological conditions: active psychosis or severe mental health conditions

  • Acute Illness: Fevers, acute inflammation, or infections

• I have disclosed any relevant conditions to Unwind Sound Lounge staff

I accept full responsibility for my health and well-being during and after participation.

5. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Unwind Sound Lounge, its owners, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to:

• Personal injury

• Illness or medical conditions

• Property damage or loss

• Any other harm or loss

This release applies whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

6. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Unwind Sound Lounge and its representatives from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from my participation.

7. Use of Equipment

I agree to use all equipment (including sound lounge beds, headphones, and accessories) as instructed and accept full responsibility for any misuse.

8. Personal Property

I understand that Unwind Sound Lounge is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

9. Cancellation & Conduct

I agree to follow all studio policies and understand that failure to do so may result in removal without refund.

10. Binding Agreement

I acknowledge that:

• I have read this waiver in full

• I understand its terms

• I am giving up substantial legal rights

• I am signing this agreement freely and voluntarily

By agreeing electronically, verbally, or in writing, I confirm that I have read, understood, and accept the terms of this waiver.
